HISTORY
This family’s Texas roots go back to 1767, when their ancestors received a land grant from the Government of Spain that was later confirmed by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Texas in February 1850. Continuing his family’s generations-long history of cattle ranching and farming that same land, Mr. Ricardo Villarreal then went on to serve in the United States Navy, and later pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas College of Arts and Industries in Kingsville, TX. After working at the Internal Revenue Service for seven years and earning an Enrolled Agent designation, he founded Ricardo Villarreal Bookkeeping and Tax Service in January 1977 in Houston. Ricardo established a busy firm which included clients not only in Texas, but out-of-state and a few overseas clients as well. In January 1994, his daughter, Venesa Pamuk began a tax season internship while completing a Master of Accounting specializing in Taxation. Upon completion of her master’s degree, Venesa joined the company full-time. For many years, Ricardo traveled monthly to Zapata, TX where he maintained a second office to serve his clients in South Texas. Ricardo developed many long-term relationships with clients who often turned to him not only for business advice, but with personal matters as well as he was a trusted confidant. Throughout her years of observing, learning and implementing the wealth of her father’s knowledge, Venesa has earned trust and built close personal relationships over several years of assisting their clients.

As was Ricardo’s lifelong dream, Venesa continues his legacy of professional service, integrity, loyalty and honesty. Upon his passing, his company Ricardo Villarreal Bookkeeping and Tax Service transitioned to ownership by his daughter and now operates as Venesa Pamuk Accounting and Tax, PLLC with Venesa Pamuk as the firm's Manager.
